New product for fancy dyeing effects

We have developed a new product for fancy dyeing effects:

PERIPRET COV 2 conc.

Reproducible and wash permanent reserving effects on garments of all kinds of fibers can be created with this special product, such as unicoloured bright/dark effects or bicoloured effects. PERIPRET COV 2 conc. doesn’t lead to any loss of tear strength, it is free of formaldehyde, and has only little influence on the handfeel of the garment.

In order to create reproducible bicoloured effects, PERIPRET COV 2 conc. can be mixed with PERICOLOR P pigments and is applied either by a dip/extract process or partially, for instance by spraying. After this the garment is fixed with a temperature of at least 140°C and can then be overdyed with a direct or reactive dyeing. The areas which had been treated with PERIPRET COV 2 conc. are barely dyed by the overdyeing process:

Bicoloured cotton trousers: treated with PERIPRET COV 2 conc. and a green PERICOLOR P pigment by a dip/extract process, afterwards overdyed with a red direct dyeing

PERIPRET COV 2 conc. a compound based on special polymers. Besides its outstanding properties as a reserving agent, PERIPRET COV 2 conc. can also be used to improve the crocking fastness of woven garments.
